Rev. Zach Guyton has pastored Bethany Church in West Orange, NJ since September 2001.
He is the ninth of ten children and the son of a life long pastor and a godly mother.
Zach holds a B.A. in economics from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA (1987) and a Master of Divinity from Columbia Biblical Seminary in Columbia, SC (2001).
He was ordained at Columbia Christian Fellowship Church in Columbia, SC (2001).
Prior to pastoring, his "real world" work experience included various positions in facilities and distribution management. He's also had the opportunity to serve at risk youth and to participate in prison ministries for several years.
Other experiences include a teenage summer working on the back of a garbage truck and two college summers working for the Architect of the Capitol in Washington, D.C.
Zach and his wife Sherene have been married since 1994 and they have one son.
